Charles Condy's recent set of original compositions as part of the NPG's Friday Evening Music Series proved to be a rare and pleasant musical discovery. Condy's compositional voice and intensity ran through all the works, engaging listeners with rich musical imagery and a harmonic and improvisational language that was accessible, fluent and intriguing. A truly exceptional evening!
